Network Automation Engineer

We’re working with a fast growing regional player in the IT integrated engineering space to find a Senior Network Automation Engineer. The Company utilizes its 20+ years of experience and sound professional service methodologies to deliver strong functional system design, deployment, operation and optimization services to its clients. The Sr. Network Automation Engineer will be responsible for implementation, documentation, optimization, monitoring/alerting and auditing of network infrastructure. This position is 100% remote.


  • Provide network planning, definition and coordination of standards
  • After initial setup, continuous improvement and automation of system maintenance activities
  • Alert monitoring and resolution of all system alerts
  • Help create and maintain technical documentation of customer networks and systems
  • Establish daily priorities and responds to customer requests
  • Interact effectively with customers, peers and management


  • Scripting or development experience involving workload automation
  • Experience with either Angular 2+, NestJS, Express, or TypeORM
  • Experience with Typescript
  • General REST API Design experience
  • Ansible/SaltStack/Terraform experience
  • Experience with professional services automation tools or ticketing systems
  • Experience with the configuration, installation and maintenance of Layer 2/3 network switches, Routers, Wireless Access Points & Controllers, and Firewalls
  • Patch Management
  • Experience with all aspects of IP network design and architecture
  • Experience with Python, Redis, Powershell, or C# is a plus, but not required
  • Project management and planning experience
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to multitask and deliver professional services independently as well as with a team
  • Technical writing and documentation
